About Me OLD

Meet Dr. Lisa Watson

“I’m not perfect.” Dr. Lisa Watson, ND~ Dr. Lisa

I’m not perfect.  And you don’t have to be either.  I work with women who want to be better, not women who want to be perfect.

I work with women who want more – more energy, more happiness, more balance, more regular periods – and sometimes less – less painful periods, less PMS, less heavy periods, less stress, less anxiety or depression.

I work with women who don’t want to be meh any more.

Perfection is not part of this path to health.  Your path is bumpy, filled with challenges, filled with LIFE.  And I’m here to help you see that path, and cheer for you as you walk it.

You have the potential to be amazingly healthy. It’s in you and in your body – health is our natural balanced state of being, and I want to help you get there.  But it’s not easy, and it’s not perfect.

What it is is balanced.  Balance is the key to health – recognizing when you are in or out of balance, and knowing how to correct it is the most important step on your journey to help.  And I want to help you find your balance.

My personal health journey has taken me through chronic digestive complaints, stress-induced conditions, complicated pregnancies, so many hormone imbalances, and a whole lot more. But my belief in the healthy potential of my body and the desire to achieve balance has helped me overcome these imbalances and learn the important lessons that my body has to teach.Dr. Lisa Watson ND

As a Naturopathic Doctor my passion is working with women – women like me who want to find balance and stop feeling so meh.  I work with women who have hormone imbalances, irregular periods, painful periods, mysterious and crazy periods, fibroids, PCOS, menopause, perimenopause, anxiety, depression, insomnia, hypothyroidism, autoimmune diseases – any and all conditions impacting women.

Aside from Naturopathic Medicine my passions include my kids (I’m supposed to say that first, right?), live music, hula hooping and creating (painting, drawing, doodling – ask to see my bullet journal!)  I have been plant based for over 30 years, and I am  an enthusiastic learner and read daily (at least 50 books a year, #humblebrag). I also attend conferences on women’s health at every opportunity.  I have a degree in Health Sciences (BHSc) from the University of Western Ontario and I received my Naturopathic Doctor (ND) designation from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2007.

If you want to get to know me better, follow me on Twitter or Instagram (see me hula hoop with fire!) at @drlisawatson, send me an email or book a free 15 minute meet and greet appointment. I’d love to get to know you and help you find your balance!
